During extended hours (last 3 weeks of Semesters 1 & 2) Tech Central remains open 24/7 at:

  • City Campus (WA4) - opposite the library entrance off Hikuwai Plaza
  • South Campus (MA2) - above the library

Security staff are present and a valid AUT student ID is required for entry - no student ID card, no access.

For City Campus, access to the WA Building will be via Hikuwai Plaza only, all other access will be blocked between 11pm and 8am.

For South Campus, access will be via the MA building entrance, up the stairs to level 2 only.

Extended hours for Semester 2, 2025 run Monday 20 October - Thursday 13 November
