Most of AUT's e-books are accessible through ProQuest Ebook Central.

Some titles have unlimited availability, while others are limited to a certain number of "copies", depending on AUT Library's subscription (and the terms & conditions of the publisher). Sometimes, when all our available "copies" are being read and/or downloaded by other students, the e-book will appear "unavailable". The only solve for this is to wait until the e-book becomes "available" again (usually within 24 hours).

We recommend downloading a chapter at a time rather than "reading online" as this allows more readers to access the e-book in a single day (if it is a high demand title that we have limited copies of); and also allows you to keep a copy of the .pdf chapter indefinitely.
