A good place to start is Library Search

When you have entered your search terms, limit your search to 'Articles and more' on the next page.

You will then see on the left-hand side of your search results 'Refine results'. Clicking the 'peer reviewed' tick box limits your results to peer-reviewed journal articles.

Other, more specialised journal databases also have a similar refinement (or limit) e.g. CINAHL: tick on ‘Peer Reviewed’ under ‘Limit your results’ before you enter your search terms.

  2. Any article not available immediately online can be requested via other means - see FAQ https://aut.ac.nz.libanswers.com/faq/234132 about getting items from other libraries.
